#0 - The beginning of a new chapter

· 2 min

A friend of mine recently told me that the most powerful tools in a good DevRel’s toolkit are the ability to create content and the ability to share. Over the past year, I’ve focused mostly on the first one, perhaps neglecting the second a bit. What better way to fill this gap than by launching a newsletter here on LinkedIn?

This is the start of a project I want to continue throughout 2025: a bi-weekly appointment with the simple goal of talking about cloud-native topics, a place where I can live out the mantra I often repeat when someone asks me to explain what I do in life: sharing the beauties the cloud-native world has to offer.

So, I’ll see you here on LinkedIn every other Friday to talk about cloud-native in a broad way. I don’t want to make this newsletter too strict; instead, I want it to be something that can be quickly read and that provides some cloud-native insights, from practitioner to practitioner. Most importantly, I hope it will spark engagement with the community and generate discussions.

In each issue, we’ll cover topics like Platform Engineering, Observability, Kubernetes, Environmental Sustainability, and Application Development, all within the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) landscape. We’ll talk about interesting articles that came out during the week, dive into specific topics, and often share thoughts and ideas that I hope will spark some constructive reflection. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll also have some interesting interviews with project maintainers or subject matter experts.

I hope this newsletter will become a space for learning, sharing, and growing together as a community. I’m excited to embark on this journey with all of you and look forward to the conversations and insights we’ll create.

If you’re interested, don’t forget to subscribe to stay updated on every new issue. And if there’s something specific you’d like to read about or discuss, feel free to suggest it — I’d love to hear your ideas! See you soon!
